Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage Therapy
Barefoot massage is a massage technique using deeper compression effleurage strokes that glide over the body smoothly and evenly using the practitioners feet to deliver continuous, deeper pressure. Bars are used above the head for support and balance allowing the therapist to use gravity and leverage as tools. Barefoot massage allows gravity to do the work to provide a depth and pressure unmatched by other techniques. This technique allows for deeper, even pressure, using broader tools with no discomfort.
